Neurological sequences, gingivitis, maltreatment: Mabelle needs support...

1. She was abused...

Mabelle is a 14 year old cat, who was rescued from the street by firemen. As she was abused, she remained very afraid of humans. So we put her in a secure outdoor area.

2. A stroke left her with serious after-effects!

Mabelle had a stroke. Since then, she meows a lot and turns constantly around on herself.

3. Her gums are inflamed

Mabelle has been suffering from gingivitis. The inflammation in her mouth is painful, to the point of preventing her from chewing!

4. Canned food would allow her to eat without too much pain

In order to continue to gain strength despite the gingivitis, Mabelle will need canned food. Easy to ingest, such food would give her the energy she needs to get through the day.

5. Veterinary fees are a drain on our budget!

Veterinary expenses are so important that we are struggling to pay the last bills. This makes it really hard to find the funds to buy food for the cats. There are nearly 400 of them that rely on us!
