Pompon's mouth is so inflamed that he has trouble eating!

1. He lives outside!

Pompon is a 12 year old cat who lives outside. To prevent him from putting himself in danger, we have placed him on the secure grounds of a volunteer. But he is exposed to the cold and humidity.

2. His mouth hurts a lot...

As he gets older, Pompon gets gingivitis more and more often, because his immune system is less efficient. The inside of his mouth, and especially his gums, are very inflamed and painful.

We are giving him medication, but we will certainly have to remove his teeth (this is planned as soon as we can afford it).

3. Canned food would allow him to eat without too much pain

To be able to continue to gain strength despite the gingivitis, Pompon will need canned food. Easy to ingest, such a food would give him the energy he needs to keep going on a daily basis.

4. Veterinary fees are a drain on our budget!

Veterinary fees are so important that we are struggling to pay the last bills. This makes it really hard to find the funds to buy food for the cats. There are nearly 400 of them that rely on us!
