Since he was left to his own devices, poor Mabrouk is completely depressed!

1. He was left to himself...

Mabrouk is a 27 year old horse, that the owner had left abandoned in a field. So we were contacted to take him in, a year and a half ago. But Mabrouk has never recovered from this episode where he was abandoned, and keeps getting depressed...

2. His health is declining!

Since Mabrouk is not in good spirits, he eats very little and has difficulty to recover. He starts to have deficiencies... Not to mention that his hooves and teeth are also getting damaged.

3. Pellets would help him get back in shape

A stock of pellets would allow us to complement Mabrouk, so that he regains weight. Such a tasty and rich food would help him to find his taste for life, and to see that he is not alone anymore!

4. Everything adds up very quickly!

Many horses were in poor health, and needed expensive veterinary care. Between that, the increasing prices of food and the hay that we had to import from neighboring departments... our budget was hard hit!
