1. She fainted while trying to eat

We picked up Kimi when she was only one month old. She was in terrible shape. A nodule in her throat prevented her from eating or even breathing properly. It got so bad that she passed out during a meal!

She has already had two surgeries to try to fix it, but her entire ENT system is completely defective. And the cortisone she takes regularly is not always enough...

2. She needs canned food to eat

Kimi can only eat soft foods. Without canned food, she will continue to have to choose between breathing and feeding... But both are equally important!

3. Veterinary costs are piling up...
