1. She arrived in terrible shape...

Sissi is a 15 years old female, reformed from breeding. She was in a pitiful state when she arrived...

2. She lost her sight after a serious eye injury...

A short time ago, Sissi was accidentally injured by another dog. It hit her eye with a claw, causing it to pop out of its socket.

Despite her history of heart disease and emphysema, Sissi required emergency surgery. Her eye was stitched back together, but she cannot see anymore. However, the surgery allowed the veterinarian to remove a tumor that he had previously been reluctant to operate.

3. With canned food, she could regain her strength

After what she has just been through, Sissi will need a complete and nutritious diet. With age-appropriate canned food, she could get her energy back. This would give her the strength to recover from her injury and surgery.

4. We are always worried...

Between the veterinary emergencies and two new unavoidable treatments, our association has no more money. We have even been forced to postpone some essential veterinary operations.

For the same reasons as us, more and more shelters are forced to close. What will happen if no one can take care of the animals left behind with dignity?
