SOS Equidés decided to move forward the ending date of their campaign because the quantity left in their stock of pellets is highly critical.

Calisson has so much arthritis that he can't stand upright anymore!

1. He spends his time lying down...

Calisson is a 29 year old pony, who has a lot of arthritis. He manages to eat standing up, but as soon as he has finished eating he lies down again, because his limbs can't support the weight of his body anymore. It is annoying and painful for him!

2. He has no more teeth!

With age, Calisson has lost his teeth. Eating something other than pellets is impossible for him!

3. Pellets would help alleviate his joint pain

With pellets that we would serve him in soup or in porridge, Calisson could eat again. Such a high quality and complete food would be an excellent source of nutrients for him. It would perhaps even reduce the inflammation of his joints, and alleviate his pain.

4. We can't make it!

Some horses can't eat grass at all and need pellets year round. In total, we would need about a ton of pellets per month... it's huge in terms of budget! But the collections don't work, because people are too solicited...
