Heart issue, damaged teeth, thinness: poor Aslan is not doing well at all!

1. He was abandoned and found in a pitiful state...

Aslan is a 14 years old dog, that we found recently, tied up at the edge of the Garrigue. He had been abandoned, in a pitiful state. The poor thing was very skinny! He is also covered with scars and limps. So we are going to make him pass some X-rays.

2. His teeth in bad condition cannot be removed, because of a heart problem!

Aslan's teeth are very damaged and would need to be removed. But he is very short of breath because he has a heart problem. We need to stabilize him before thinking of operating on his teeth.

3. Canned food would allow him to gain strength in the meantime

In order for him to continue to eat without having to chew too much, Aslan will need canned food. Adapted to his age, they would give him the strength he needs every day!

4. We are always worried...

Between the veterinary emergencies and two new unavoidable treatments, our association has no more money. We have even been forced to postpone certain veterinary operations, although essential.

For the same reasons as us, more and more shelters are forced to close. What will happen if no one can take care of the animals left behind with dignity?
