Tired heart, skin problems, missing teeth : Marylou has had a hard life!

1. She arrived in a pitiful state!

Marylou is a 14 year old dog, who has spent a good part of her life on the streets of Reunion Island. When she arrived, she had heartworm disease and had to be treated. Despite this, her heart remained very tired. She also has skin problems for which she has to take medication.

2. She has no teeth...

Marylou's teeth were infected and badly positioned on her jaw. She had to have surgery to remove them. Now she can't chew...

3. Canned food would give her the energy she needs

After all she has been through, Marylou will need a complete and qualitative diet. Canned food of age-appropriate wet food would help her regain her strength without difficulty.

4. We are always worried...

Between veterinary emergencies and two new unavoidable treatments, our association has no more money. We have even been forced to postpone some essential veterinary operations.

For the same reasons as us, more and more shelters are forced to close. What will happen if no one can take care of the animals left behind with dignity?
