Blacky is a 15 year old cat, who drools and has inflamed gums. Because it has become painful for him to chew, he is eating less and losing weight. He has lost a lot of muscle mass lately...

2. Canned food would help him gain weight

With wet, easy-to-ingest canned food, Blacky could start eating again without suffering. This would help him refuel and return to a more normal weight.

3. It's a disaster!

All prices have gone up, especially food. This makes it very difficult to feed all the cats, of which there are nearly 150 that rely on us. Donations are scarce, and the in-store collections are going nowhere. The situation is catastrophic!
