Riley is a 2 year old outdoor cat that we picked up from a site 4 months ago. Three weeks ago he declared calicivirus. He was not well and had pain in his mouth.
So the vet gave him an injection of antibiotics and cortisone. He will now need to take a treatment by tablet in his food, to avoid recurrence.
To ingest his medication without difficulty, Riley would need canned food. They would also help him to replenish his energy, to be in good shape every day.
With a lot of sick cats (coryza, calicivirus, giardia, etc.), the vet bills don't stop. The more cats we have, the more it spreads! Financially, the situation is thus particularly complicated...
