1. He suffers from a virus that has become chronic!

Romeo is a cat of about 6 years old, who has a big coryza. His nose is always running and he has difficulty breathing, despite the care he receives. As the disease has become chronic and he is also FIV positive, the antibiotics have no effect at all...

2. He has trouble eating and has lost weight...

Romeo's teeth and gums hurt because of a calicivirus. As he has more difficulty to eat, he has lost weight. So we took him out of his feeding site in 2020, because he was not in good shape at all.

3. Canned food would help him get back on track

A palatable, moist food like the canned food would make it easier for Romeo to eat, despite the condition of his teeth. By replenishing good protein, he could regain his weight and give his body valuable energy. Being in better shape could only help him fight off the coryza more effectively.

4. We don't have any subsidies!

The fostering continues at full speed: I have just had kittens brought to me again. I try to place them in foster homes or to have them adopted when possible, but there are already about 15 kittens left from last year. With the arrival of the new ones, the situation will continue to get more complicated. Without subsidies, it becomes very difficult to manage!
