Jardin des Chats decided to move forward the ending date of their campaign because the quantity left in their stock of canned food is highly critical.

1. He has a lot of pain in the mouth!

Zavata is a one and a half year old cat, suffering from calicivirus. The disease is so virulent that it resists to medication injections. So he always has very inflamed gums and ulcers on his tongue, which prevents him from eating kibbles.

2. Canned food would allow him to eat without too much pain

Food that is as easy to ingest such as canned food would be a great help to Zavata. It would be an opportunity for him to regain his strength without pain, and possibly test a daily treatment in the long run. We have to try!

3. No less than 400 cats are counting on us!

There is a lot of abandonment at the moment. Most of the animals we find as strays have serious health problems, which means high veterinary costs. Managing 400 cats is becoming an increasingly difficult task financially!
