Cushing disease, deformed hooves, arthritis: poor Lutine needs pellets!

1. She has great difficulty moving...

Lutine is a 24-year-old pony that we rescued with very long and completely deformed hooves. Despite wearing small shoes that were supposed to provide relief, she has recently had a lot of trouble walking.

2. She has Cushing's disease!

Unfortunately, tests have revealed that Lutine has Cushing's disease: her phalanges are tilting and causing laminitis. Therefore, she needs to take an anti-inflammatory treatment, which also helps with her arthritis.

3. Pellets would help her maintain her strength

To cope with the disease, Lutine would benefit from pellets. Such supplementation could help reduce inflammation in her joints, while allowing her to replenish her energy every day.

4. We are out of stock of pellets!

There are new requests for assistance coming from everywhere! With the drought, hay has become very expensive and we are out of pellets... Feeding all the new arrivals has become extremely challenging!
