Gracie is a 3-year-old Angora cat who was abandoned on the street. When we found her, she was suffering from a rectal prolapse: a part of her rectum was sticking out. This required multiple surgeries, as the problem recurred.
If she ate canned food designed for gastrointestinal problems, Gracie could regain her energy while being gentle on her intestines. This would give her a chance to recover from all the hardships she has been through.
Our association takes care of 70 cats every day. There are only two of us handling all of this, with donations becoming more and more sporadic. Faced with rising veterinary costs, we are starting to struggle!
