Batman is a 14-year-old cat with a heart condition. Because of this, fluid accumulates in his belly abnormally. Since his daily treatment is not enough, he has to go to the vet every month to have the fluid drained.

2. Canned food would give him energy

To prevent developing additional health problems, Batman could really use an age-appropriate diet. This would allow him to replenish his vitamins and minerals without risking the worsening of his condition. It would also be a good way for him to stay hydrated, which is important for elderly cats.
