Zara is a 12-year-old female cat suffering from renal failure. She is very thin and has a poor appetite.

Recently, she was also severely dehydrated, and veterinarians suspect another health issue, such as a spinal or bone marrow disease. We have placed her in a foster home where she is receiving appropriate treatment.

2. Special canned food would help stabilize her condition

An adapted diet for cats with renal failure would be ideal for Zara. In addition to aiding her kidney function, such food would help her regain some weight. It would also make it easier for her to consume her daily medication.
