1. In France, Ghislaine has run out of kibble to feed the 200 free cats in her care... The poor things are in danger of starving to death!

"I only have 3 bags of kibble left to feed no less than 200 street cats spread over 18 feeding sites... Enough to last less than a week! Times are so hard that I have to ration the cats, giving priority to the youngest, oldest and sickest. But it's a vicious circle, as the others start to weaken and lose weight too!

Occasionally, I find some of the cats rummaging through the garbage. Others start eating whatever they can find and fall victim to poisoning. Many cats are disappearing... We have to act, but the association has its head under water and is cruelly lacking in financial resources! The little money we had this month went to pay off our veterinary debts. So there's nothing left to buy food for the cats...".

2. Visually impaired, poor Odin risks not surviving if Ghislaine no longer has kibble to give him...

"Odin is a 2-year-old cat who has lived outdoors since he was a kitten. He wandered alone in the countryside, before arriving at a feeding site at the age of 3 months. Unfortunately, the poor thing suffers from a birth defect: he is blind in his right eye.

With his field of vision halved, it is twice as difficult for him to survive outdoors. Finding shelter and hunting are particularly complicated tasks for him. If we run out of kibble to feed him, he won't be able to find food on his own and won't survive!"

3. Sick kittens, non-existent donations, rising prices: the association finds itself totally helpless!

"People don't feel concerned by the fate of these poor cats. As a result, there are hardly any donations, and the town council refuses to help us.

Lacking the means to do so, many people abandon their cats. And with the arrival of sick kittens, we're going to have to pay new veterinary fees (deworming, antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, identification, etc.). Between that and the prices that have gone up, we can't cope any more!"

4. Ghislaine isn't asking for money, only kibble to prevent the street cats from starving.

"Ever since I was a little girl, I've been sensitive to the animal cause. In recent years, I've even put my health on the line to help cats. But if one day I really can't go on, who's going to look after them?

With only 530 euros to pay all my bills and look after the cats, I may not be able to go on like this for much longer. What will become of them if the association goes under? I'm really counting on you, because your site is one of the last places where animal lovers manage to rally together to help small associations like mine."
