1. She had to undergo surgery in an emergency…

Gina is an 11-year-old dog who almost died from an inguinal hernia. Despite being fragile in her lungs, emergency surgery was necessary because the hernia had enlarged. During the procedure, the vet had to remove her uterus, tumors, and the hernia. Gina will therefore be in recovery for quite some time…

2. Canned food for senior dogs would help her recover

Refilling her with good nutrients during this difficult period would help Gina bounce back. By benefiting from all the proteins and vitamins she needs, she could regain some energy and provide her body with everything it requires for optimal recovery.

3. We had to resume taking in more animals…

We are in the midst of abandonment season; all shelters are overwhelmed. Therefore, we have started taking in more animals again because we cannot turn a blind eye to animal suffering… But the new arrivals required extensive veterinary care. Our finances are now at an all-time low!
