Heartburns, abscesses in the mouth, kidney problems... Blacky needs a specially tailored diet!

1. He has abscesses in his mouth…

Blacky is a 12-year-old cat that we found as a stray. He was so emaciated that he had to be put on intravenous fluids. Abscesses in his mouth and acid reflux were preventing him from eating… We now have a treatment to give him.

2. He has renal insufficiency!

Blacky also has renal insufficiency. His kidneys no longer effectively filter toxins out of his body, which greatly tires him out!

3. Special canned food would help him regain strength

A specially formulated diet to spare his kidneys would be perfect for Blacky. Since it is a wet food, he would have less trouble ingesting it than with dry food. This way, he could more easily take his medications and increase his chances of getting better.

4. The arrival of the kittens is putting us in a tough spot!

We are overwhelmed by kittens! There are nearly thirty of them in our foster home… To feed them, we have organized in-store campaigns, but with the increased prices, we collect half as much as before!

Our budget to continue feeding the other animals is therefore greatly affected…
