Ulcers, damaged teeth, oral pain: Finger likely has a severe case of calicivirus...

1. His mouth is in pain...

Finger is a cat of around 6 years old, with seriously damaged teeth. He also has significant ulcers in his mouth, which leads us to suspect calicivirus. We must therefore provide him with multiple treatments.

2. Blankets would keep him warm this winter

Weakened by his health issues, Finger really could do with a batch of blankets. They would help him to retain his body heat more readily as winter approaches. This way, he could rest more comfortably, while waiting for his medication to take effect.

3. There's always more kittens!

Despite rehoming older cats, we still have a great number of creatures to feed. This year alone, we have already taken in 80 kittens!

Between the cost of care and the expenses to ensure they meet the necessary requirements, our budget is under siege. We no longer have sufficient funds to feed everyone properly...
