1. A virus prevents her from growing at a normal rate…

Ussia is a kitten of about 2 months who is severely affected by cat flu. Her eyes are tearful, she has difficulty breathing and her nose is full of pus. As she has a low appetite, she doesn’t eat much and subsequently isn’t growing! So we have medication to give her to help her out of this pickle…

2. Canned food would increase her chances of recovery

Tasty and appetising food would help Ussia start to eat enough again. It would also be a good way for her to take her medicine. This would give her a better chance to catch up on her growth delay, and ultimately grow to be a stronger, healthier cat!

3. We are overwhelmed by the number of requests!

There are always a lot of abandonments and calls from people who find kittens. But as there are few adoptions and we lack foster families, we cannot make as many new intakes as needed. Especially since the kittens arriving are often in catastrophic conditions…
