Extremely fearful and toothless, poor Cookie will probably never be adopted...

1. Scabies has damaged his ear...

Cookie is a 10-year-old cat that we found when he was just a kitten. Affected by scabies, he has kept one ear curled up. As he's always been nervous, he's never found a home...

2. He has no teeth left at all!

Over time, Cookie's teeth deteriorated so much that they had to be removed. The operation took place in June and since then, Cookie has been unable to chew.

3. Canned food would help him regain strength

A soft and easy-to-swallow diet, like canned food, could be of great help to Cookie. Allowing him to eat and stay hydrated despite his lack of teeth, such nourishment would keep him fit.

It would also be a good way of preventing future health problems from developing, such as kidney failure or diabetes.

4. Many collections feel like a drop in the ocean!

We have entirely run out of food, litter, and blankets. In-store collections are hardly effective, which is why we are desperately trying to increase our proactive efforts... but it's not enough!
