Zaire has been very ill, and sadly, his condition is not going to improve!

1. We had to remove all his teeth

Recently, Zaïre has been very ill. He was in a pitiful condition, and we had no option but to extract all his teeth. This, however, is only a temporary measure, as we know very well that he will require further veterinary care in the future.

Despite this, he remains very feral, living outdoors which poses additional challenges. Particularly since the area in which he has found refuge is notably damp. Far from ideal for his health...

2. Blankets could prevent further deterioration of his condition

The blankets will, at the very least, prevent him from getting cold, a situation that would undoubtedly no good for him. The blankets will ensure he stays warm, which is crucial especially during this time of falling temperatures.

3. We have many cats to assist

We oversee an area where all too often people abandon their cats. At present, we're in the process of renewing all our shelters which is putting a heavy strain on our budget.
