Stroke, kidney issues, abscess: canned food would be of great help for Zorro!

1. He had a stroke...

Zorro is a 16-year-old cat, who suffered a stroke a month ago. Tragically, this stroke made him lose his sight, and he needed to be hospitalised for two days.

2. He struggles with kidney issues!

As he ages, Zorro's kidneys are becoming less and less efficient, they're no longer filtering toxins out of his body effectively. He is suffering from what we call kidney failure. This disease has made him lose a significant amount of weight in recent months.

3. He had an abscess on his paw...

Not long ago, Zorro developed an abscess on his paw. As the wound was oozing, we put him on antibiotic tablets. For now, he's limping quite heavily and has trouble moving around.

4. Suitable canned food would help him take his medication

A wet diet suitable for his kidney conditions would allow Zorro to replenish his energy without any risk. Thus he could regain some weight, while staying well hydrated. With such a tasty diet, taking his medication would be a breeze for him!

5. I handle everything, alone...

Under the hot sun, animals more readily fall ill and lose weight. This summer has been really difficult on that front...

I manage everything alone: I have been rising at 5 a.m. every morning for the past 12 years, without a day off. There's no way I would leave animals in need to fend for themselves!
