Loss of appetite, nausea, thinness: Elsa is suffering from chronic kidney failure!

1. Her kidneys are no longer functioning properly...

Elsa is a 15-year-old cat who has significantly lost weight due to chronic kidney disease (CKD). The excess toxins in her body cause her to feel nauseous, leading to reduced food intake and further weight loss. We have a treatment in place to aid her recovery.

2. Blankets would provide the comfort she needs at her age

A set of blankets would bring warmth and softness for Elsa in her twilight years. Being more sensitive to temperature changes due to her age and condition, she will no longer struggle to maintain her body heat.

With blankets, she would benefit from a secure and comfortable space to curl up and rest. Since her body needs to recuperate, she requires more sleep than usual.

3. Veterinary expenses are taking up our entire budget!

We have run out of supplies to feed the cats and dogs. Veterinary costs are so high that we have zero budget left for purchasing canned food and blankets!
