Marguerite is an 8 year old cat who tested positive for FIV. This illness, often known as Feline HIV when it's active, progressively wears down her immune system. As a result, she's more susceptible to viruses and her resilience is diminished…

2. She suffers from chronic feline herpes virus infection !

Regrettably, Marguerite caught chronic rhinotracheitis. Due to her already weakened health, the virus set in for the long haul. Her nose is continuously blocked and her eyes are incessantly watery, requiring her to undergo antibiotic treatment.

3. Canned food would give her the strength to keep going

Given her condition, it's crucial for Marguerite to receive quality nutrition to help replenish her energy levels.

Canned food could provide her with vital vitamins and minerals, aiding her to keep up her strength in face of these challenges. Moreover, this food form would be a simple method for her to take her medication.

4. There are always more kittens !

In spite of rehoming older cats, we're still left with a significant number of animals to feed. This year alone, we've already taken in 80 kittens!
