Lucky was discovered in a pitiful state, suffering in a cardboard box after being abused!

1. He was injured due to abuse...

Lucky is a little over one-year-old cat, who we found agonising inside a sealed box. His tail was cut off and he had a deformity in his mouth as a result of being hit.

Despite the care provided, it took him a vast amount of time to rebound. He retains some lasting effects: a part of his mouth and several teeth are missing... Chewing is a struggle for him!

2. Canned food would make his feeding less problematic

With easy-to-swallow canned food, Lucky would no longer need to chew his feed. He would simply slurp it, thereby replenishing his energy despite the condition of his mouth. Having access to such a diet would offer him tremendous solace!

3. We are operating at our maximum capacity!

The situation has become so tricky that we can no longer undertake rescues. There have been no recent adoptions, which does not aid us.

As for the grants, they are insubstantial. The prices of dry food and litter have increased. Financially, we cannot handle more than we are currently handling!
