1. He suffered a knee injury...

Jewel is a 4-year-old horse, who was retired from racing due to an injury. A fracture in his knee resulted in a small piece of bone getting detached, causing him to limp. He spent a year recovering and is starting to get better, but he is no longer allowed to run.

2. Pellets would help him maintain his condition

Being less active than he used to be, Jewel is going to require additional feeding to prevent him from growing weak. Pellets would supply him with the essential minerals and vitamins his body needs to stay healthy. It would also be a great energy source for him this winter!

3. Financially, we're at a standstill…

We have completely run out of pellet stock, and we do not have the means to replenish our supply. Heavy veterinary expenses have recently left us strapped for cash! Without help, we are headed for disaster...
