Hypothermia, kidney issues, loss of mobility: the life prognosis for Réglisse was critical!

1. She was in a critical condition due to kidney issues!

Reglisse is an 8-year-old cat we found several days ago at a feeding site. She had exhausted all her strength and couldn't move because she was hypothermic.

Her body temperature had dropped to 32 °C, putting her life at risk! Medical examinations revealed the cause of this condition: severe kidney failure. She is currently on an intravenous drip.

2. Canned food would help her regain strength

Once the drip is removed, canned food would be perfect to help Reglisse regain strength. She could then replenish her energy whilst staying properly hydrated. Such a diet, adapted to her condition, would ease the work on her kidneys without worsening her health.

3. We are stretched to the limit!

Financial circumstances are incredibly strained. We're trying to manage, but the association is always on a tightrope when it comes to food... Therefore, I often have to use my personal funds. Sadly, my resources are not unlimited and I can't keep this up for much longer!
