1. Her immune system is compromised...

Idylle is a 10-year-old cat who has been diagnosed with FIV. This disease gradually destroys her immune defences, making her extremely vulnerable...

2. She has major problems with her mouth!

Idylle had a severe inflammation in her mouth, which required the removal of all her teeth. Despite this, she still experiences bleeding, drooling and has an ulcer on her tongue. We have been giving her both antibiotics and cortisone, but she is not making a true recovery.

3. Canned food would help her eat without too much discomfort

A diet of easily digestible wet food can aid Idylle in regaining her strength. Attractive to the palate, this form of canned food is suited for older cats with fragile health. By stocking up daily on vitamins and minerals, Idylle might be able to strengthen herself a little and soothe some of her symptoms.

4. The number of cats in need remains high...

There are always cats to feed and care for. As one gets adopted, new ones come in... it's an endless cycle! The incurred expenses are substantial, so much so that we can't keep up.
