Arthritis, injury, heart murmur: Pollux needs to get his health back on track!

1. He was injured in an accident...

Pollux is a 10-year-old dog who lived on the streets of Reunion Island. Unfortunately, he was run over by a car, which wounded his leg. He therefore had to undergo surgery to insert a pin.

Now in recovery, he is gradually regaining mobility. However, arthritis will always make it challenging for him to move.

2. He has a heart condition!

Pollux has a heart murmur. Despite treatment, he easily becomes short of breath and tends to tire quickly.

3. Canned food would help him regain strength

Rich in high-quality nutrients, canned food would help Pollux replenish his energy reserves. After everything he has been through, such tasty food would provide much-needed comfort. It would also assist him in fully recovering from his leg surgery.

4. We are in the red!

With falling temperatures, we have had a sharp rise in sick animals. There have also been deaths. All of this has led to veterinary expenses that have once again put us in the red! We are trying to keep going by fundraising, but times are indeed truly hard…
