Too wild to be adopted, poor Sidonie lives in the cold...

1. Left to fend for herself, she lives outdoors...

Sidonie is a roughly four-year-old cat that we rescued from the animal shelter. She cannot tolerate indoor life. She's so wild that cohabiting with other cats at a feeding site was too difficult for her.

Therefore, we placed her in a secure area on the outskirts of the village. With the return of winter, we're worried about her...

2. Blankets would protect her from the winter cold

With a set of blankets, Sidonie would have an easier time maintaining her body heat this winter. She would be better shielded from moisture and wind, and could rest more peacefully. Not having to sleep directly on the ground would be a great comfort to her!

3. We need to care for 50 additional cats suddenly…

Compared to last year, the association's budget is in deficit. And things might not improve: an individual has abandoned over 50 cats, which we now need to care for in addition to the fifty or so cats we are already looking after.

Many are old or sick and will probably never be adopted. The association has existed for eight years, but we have never faced such difficulties!
