Following a bout of cat flu, poor Garfield almost lost his eyes!

1. He could have lost his eyes...

At four years old, Garfield was suffering the serious effects of feline herpesvirus. His eyes were red and producing pus. As such, he has undergone surgery to allow his tear fluid to drain properly. We also need to administer eye drops to him every day.

2. Canned food would help him regain strength

In addition to post-operative care, Garfield needs canned food to rejuvenate himself. A daily dose of vitamins, proteins and minerals would help him regain energy and improve his overall health.

3. We are overwhelmed!

No fewer than 45 cats have been left to fend for themselves, following the departure of the lady who looked after them. Unfortunately, we cannot take all of them in, but we will try to neuter and rehome as many as we can.

The situation is becoming truly challenging to manage, as there are only two of us to care for all these little souls...
