Olive is a five or six-year-old cat who was abandoned after a move. He now lives at a feeding site but struggles to adapt. He is often injured and remains unapproachable...
Not used to fending for himself, Olive eats whatever he can find, often scavenging from bins, which leads to diarrhoea.
Enriched with highly digestible proteins, canned food would aid Olive in regaining his strength. He could finally replenish with good nutrients, which would be a great comfort to him!
Compared to last year, the association's budget is in deficit. And things might not improve: an individual has abandoned over 50 cats, which we now need to care for in addition to the fifty or so cats we are already looking after.
Many are old or sick and will probably never be adopted. The association has existed for eight years, but we have never faced such difficulties!
