Adam is a 17-year-old cat who is a carrier of FIV. This disease gradually renders his immune defences ineffective. As a result, he is more susceptible to catching a virus or falling victim to a serious infection.

Following a bout of gingivitis, Adam had to have several teeth removed. And as the remaining ones are damaged, he can no longer chew to eat…
