1. He no longer has any teeth...

Urban is a free roaming cat of about five years old, affected by calicivirus. This disease unfortunately caused him to develop gingivitis. To alleviate the pain and inflammation of his gums, we had to extract all his teeth. We then placed him with a foster family where he is recovering.

Since the dental extraction, the pain in his mouth has decreased. But he can no longer eat dry food, as he can no longer chew...

2. Canned food would allow him to eat without difficulty

A moist diet would be ideal for providing Urban with the sustenance needed to regain his strength. He would simply need to lap it up and let it slide down his throat, without having to chew it. This daily energy boost would allow him to fully recover from his operation!

3. No less than 500 tomcats need us!

Most stores deny us the opportunity to do trolley drives. The last one we managed took place in early October and only provided us with enough supplies to last three weeks...

Feeding 500 free-living cats on a daily basis without any stock is a real financial headache!
