Cosette decided to move forward the ending date of their campaign because the quantity left in their stock of canned food is highly critical.

1. He was severely injured...!

Scar, a cat of around 14 years old, was discovered on a hill in Ariège, with a severely injured and hanging cheek. As he was also ill, we took him in to care for him. His cheek was sewn back, and the damaged tissues were removed.

2. He has ear cancer...

The vet discovered that Scar has ear cancer, which had to be removed. As he is an FIV carrier (a disease that attacks his immunity), he struggles to heal and recover... We are waiting for him to get better to be able to extract the damaged teeth.

3. Canned food would support him in gaining strength effortlessly

The canned food suitable for senior cats could significantly improve Scar's daily life. A wet diet would be easier for him to ingest, while providing him with the necessary nutrients for his recovery.

4. Abandonments are increasing, but adoptions are not...

Our association is increasingly pressurised due to the large number of sick animals requiring costly care.

People's reluctance to adopt these animals, coupled with an increase in the abandonment of old or suffering cats, intensifies our challenges... Not to mention that feeding zones are increasingly extensive, adding to our difficulties!
