Potiron is a two-month-old kitten, who was living outdoors. When we took him in four weeks ago, poor Potiron was suffering from cat flu. He was very weak, with a running nose and eyes. We therefore gave him an antibiotic treatment which improved his condition, even though he's still very frail.
Even though he's doing better, Potiron is still a carrier of cat flu, which could flare up at any time. Canned food suitable for his age would provide him with proteins and vitamins, which would help him strengthen. He would thus be less likely to fall ill again and could continue his growth under good conditions.
We established the association two years ago to take care of distressed cats in the local area. Currently, about thirty tomcats rely on us for food and healthcare.
Unfortunately, our financial resources are too limited to allow us to purchase appropriate food for the cats who need it...
