Animal Webaction
This campaign has failed... Emergency street cats Morocco! hasn't received anything. Why?

It is always a huge disappointment to see a campaign fail, it means that the concerned animals will not receive any help. Unfortunately, we can not ship incomplete campaigns.

When a campaign fails, why can't you at least deliver what has been collected ?

We want to maximize the help we are all bringing to the animals in distress. Our campaign goals are calculated to balance our storage, delivery and manufacturing costs of the offered products.

Delivering failed campaigns would generate too many costs, which would eventually lead to the bankruptcy of the website and leave all the animals that we could have helped alone...

The delivery of unfinished campaigns is also physically impossible for some products (if only 50% of a kennel is financed: we can not cut it in half).

Why can't you at least transfer the collected money to the association ?

Our activity is regulated by the french tax law, it forbides us to transfer money instead of the advertised product (article L 548-1 of the Monetary and Financial Code).

For this reason, when a campaign fails, donations are immediately refunded. If they want to, donors can send this money directly to the association.

If you can't transfer the collected money to the association, why don't you just send it to another one ?

Our activity is regulated by the french tax law, it forbides us to use the money for anything else than the original use announced in the campaign (article L 548-1).

So, unfortunately, we are not allowed to transfer donations from a campaign to another.

What happens to the free clicks assigned to a failed campaign?

Free clicks are saved before being reallocated to other campaigns (free clicks being immaterial, they are not submited to the same obligations than financial donations).

1. In Morocco, Corinne has run out of kibble to feed the hundreds of cats she cares for in her shelter and on the streets. They will starve to death if no one intervenes!

%%%

"For months, I've been trying to manage the rations for my little protégés as best as I can, but today, reality has caught up with me: my stock of kibble is depleted! Due to insufficient resources and donations that do not meet our needs, purchasing new kibble has become an impossible mission.

Without kibble, rescuing new cats is unthinkable. On the streets, I see bewildered cats wandering off in search of food, a sight that breaks my heart... This outlook is all the more painful because I know how vulnerable and dependent on our help these cats are! In this daily struggle for their survival, each day without kibble is one day too many..."

2. Without kibble, the precariousness and the risk of deadly diseases among cats worsen, putting the most vulnerable at risk.

###

"Without a new stock of kibble, I fear that minor illnesses could become deadly for many of our cats. Serious diseases threaten to spread, and without kibble, their ability to fight off these conditions significantly decreases.

I witness the growing difficulties these animals face on the streets; the precariousness of their existence worsens. I fear that the weakest, especially the youngest, the oldest, or the sick, may be the first to succumb...

Some become nuisances in their quest for food. The risk of them breaking into homes or businesses to scavenge for scraps is real, creating unnecessary tension with residents. This situation puts me up against a wall... Only the success of this campaign can prevent the worst! The anxiety that it might fail haunts me, as the survival of these cats entirely depends on it..."

3. Despite numerous attempts, Corinne is unable to garner the necessary support for the purchase of kibble.

###

"Despite my repeated efforts to alert the online community, the responses to our calls for donations have been disappointing. The sponsorship program I established to create a direct link between donors and our residents has not received the hoped-for adherence. Even the newsletters I regularly send out do not spark the necessary impulse for financial support.

I have also tried to negotiate with suppliers for more favorable rates, without success. The pressure is constant, as the survival of these cats rests on my shoulders! The difficulty in mobilizing the necessary aid only increases my anxiety about the urgency of obtaining kibble..."

4. Corinne isn't asking for money, only kibble to prevent the cats from starving.

###

"Without kibble, daily management of the shelter has become a real headache. It is now impossible for me to plan any rescue, as I cannot guarantee the necessary food for the cats we could save. Without adequate nutrition, the health monitoring of the cats is also severely compromised.

We are hindered in our sterilization efforts, which are essential to control the feline population. These programs are crucial for managing the feline population responsibly, but they require the cats to be healthy!

Our plans for expanding the shelter are on hold. Without a guarantee of being able to properly feed the cats, it is impossible to think about increasing our capacity... This shortage endangers the very existence of our mission. Without a reliable source of kibble, not only is the future of the shelter at stake, but also that of every cat we strive to protect!"

5. Driven by her love for animals, Corinne endures exhaustion and challenges in her fight for their protection.

###

"In my fight for animals, I'm constantly physically and emotionally exhausted. Sadness regularly overwhelms me, faced with the many cases of animal distress that I encounter, situations that sometimes seem to have no end and no solution.

Managing relations with local residents is also a constant challenge. Diplomacy and patience are required to navigate through the conflicts that can arise, often fuelled by misunderstanding or fear. Similarly, working with local authorities to find common ground requires a resilience and inventiveness that I have to draw on deep within myself, even in moments of doubt.

Despite these obstacles, it's my unconditional love for animals that gives me the strength to carry on. Each small success, each cat that finds a loving home or recovers from an illness, reminds me why this fight is essential. The gratitude I see in the eyes of the animals we help is, for me, the greatest reward of all!"

6. If this campaign is successful, Corinne will not receive any money but 1200 kg of kibble, delivered from Animal Webaction's logistics platform in Morocco.

Animal Webaction has a logistical platform in Morocco, which allows us to intervene quickly and deliver kibble.

7. Campaigns launched on Animal Webaction often fail...

Liste des récoltes échouées

When a campaign fails, Animal Webaction cannot deliver the collected products, the beneficiary receives nothing and the buyers get a refund...

8. In Morocco, donors are scarce, and there are no foundations or subsidies. It is very difficult to find funding for kibbles, many cats remain starving in the street!
