1. She suffers from a hormonal disorder…

Pomponette is a 10-year-old cat, who suffers from hyperthyroidism. Because of an excessive production of thyroid hormones, her metabolism is disrupted.

2. This disease causes her problems with her heart and liver!

Pomponette's hyperthyroidism results in a heart murmur and tachycardia. Her liver is also misregulated, causing her diarrhoea. She can no longer tolerate food based on poultry.

3. Suitable canned food could alleviate her symptoms

A diet suitable for elderly cats would be of great help for Pomponette. Developed from highly digestible ingredients, such canned food could notably alleviate her diarrhoea.

Having a good source of nutrients daily would potentially prevent her from losing weight, often a characteristic of hyperthyroidism.

4. Veterinary expenses take up a large part of our budget…

Our association is facing considerable challenges, even more so during the winter period. Currently, many cats are sick and new tomcats are coming in as a result of abandonments.

Taking care of them and providing necessary treatments involve heavy expenses at the vet's. Therefore, we no longer have enough budget to buy suitable food for the cats that need it…
