Cazano's immune system is weakened and no longer protects him properly: he's always ill!

1. His immunity is compromised by FIV...

Cazano, a cat of around 10 years old, is particularly frail due to FIV. This condition progressively weakens his immune system, making him extremely vulnerable to various health problems. He often gets cat flu, and occasionally suffers from vomiting.

2. He has chronic calicivirus!

Cazano is affected with calicivirus which doesn't ease since he's fragile. It was necessary to remove all his teeth to alleviate some of the inflammation in his mouth. But now, he can no longer chew.

3. Canned food would allow him to eat without difficulty

A wet diet, like canned food, would allow Cazano to feed even if he doesn't have any teeth left. Its balanced and easily digestible composition would ease his vomiting, whilst keeping him sufficiently hydrated. This would also make it easier for us to give him the medication, to help him recover.

4. We've had enormous veterinary costs this year!

Currently, the association is encountering significant difficulties. This year, financial support has drastically decreased and we've received very few donations. The veterinary expenses have reached a staggering 6,000 euros.

A lot of cats have fallen ill and needed dental extractions. Paying all these bills and finding the funds to continue buying food for cats that require a specific diet is no longer within our means...
