Missing teeth, sore gums, respiratory virus: poor Mimis is dealing with a calicivirus and cat flu!

1. A virus causes Him breathing difficulty...

Mimis is a 14-year-old cat who lives outdoors because he can't bear to stay indoors. He unfortunately contracted cat flu, a common virus among street cats. The disease has localized in his bronchi, causing him severe breathing difficulties.

2. He's hardly got any teeth left due to gingivitis!

Mimis also suffers from gingivitis and had to have all his teeth removed, except for his fangs. This has helped alleviate his inflammation, but he can no longer chew his food.

3. Canned food would help him regain his strength

Tasty and enticing, canned food would aid Mimis in eating regularly. Its wet and tender texture would make it eatable despite his lack of teeth.

Regaining strength on a daily basis would bolster him and increase his chances of recovery.

4. Veterinary fees take up a large proportion of our budget...

Our association faces significant challenges, especially during winter. Currently, a lot of cats are ill and new toms are arriving following abandonments.

Treating them and regularising their situation involves large veterinary fees. We therefore no longer have enough budget to buy appropriate food for the needy cats...
