Diam is a four-year-old cat who has just arrived at a feeding station. We have provided him a safe shelter as he suffers from chronic conjunctivitis. Struggling to keep his eyes open due to irritation, he requires a course of antibiotic treatment.
A nutrient-rich diet like canned food would help Diam regain some strength. Daily intake of vitamins and proteins would gradually help him put on weight. It would also make it easier for him to ingest his medication, thus improving his chances of recovery!
This year, we have had to rescue 48 kittens, twice as many as usual. Financially, it's been a complete disaster! With subsidies not coming through for several months, we don't know how we're going to get by...
