Tooth loss, sore feet: Pabelle needs quality feed!

1. She suffers from foot pain…

Pabelle is a pony born in 2007, that was abandoned in a field by her owners. Due to a lack of care, she developed laminitis: the soft tissues inside her hooves are inflamed.

2. She no longer has teeth!

With age, Pabelle gradually lost all her teeth. Now, she cannot chew at all to eat!

3. Wet pellets would help her regain strength

A high-quality diet such as pellets could help to reduce the inflammation that Pabelle is suffering from. We would blend them into a mush for her, enabling her to swallow them without difficulty. This way, she could replenish her energy levels each day and stay in good health.

4. Snow is on the way…

Right now, it's bitterly cold and the rain is icy, which means that it's likely to start snowing soon. We'll need to bring the more sensitive animals indoors and provide them with additional feed. However, pellets are expensive… we won't be able to manage without help!
