Having contracted a calicivirus and typhus, Furieuse had to be rushed to the hospital!

1. She’s struggling a lot to eat...

Furieuse is a five-year-old cat, suffering from calicivirus, a viral infection that makes eating a chore for her. Crunching on dry food has become extremely painful for her!

2. She had to be hospitalised because of typhus!

Weakened, Furieuse also contracted typhus, a disease caused by a virus. She spent her time vomiting and having diarrhoea, to the point of being dehydrated! So, she had to be hospitalised and put on a drip...

3. Blankets would keep her warm

Upon her return from the clinic, blankets would provide Furieuse with soothing comfort and protection against the cold and drafts.

They would help her maintain a stable body temperature, allowing her to rest more effectively. Favourable to her health, this rest would increase her chances of recovery!

4. We’re facing hefty veterinary costs!

Despite a financial situation that had slightly improved, we quickly found ourselves facing significant veterinary costs, as the number of cats to take care of remains high...

This situation constantly tests our budget, requiring meticulous management to balance the essential care and financial imperatives of our association!
