Injured in a paw, little Patless had to be amputated!

1. She lost a paw in an accident…

Patless is a four-month-old kitten found by locals with part of her forepaw torn off. She had likely been caught in a trap and had somehow managed to escape...

The vet had to amputate her paw to allow the wound to fully heal. Patless is now living with a disability. Running, jumping... everything is more complicated for her! Hence, we have placed her in a foster home.

2. She suffers from deficiencies!

Patless probably lacked food when she was living outdoors, as she only weighed 1.4 kg when she arrived. She is also very deficient and must take dietary supplements.

3. She has skin problems…

During the amputation, the vet discovered that Patless has skin atrophy. Her skin is very thin, and runs the risk of tearing at the slightest shock! We therefore need to minimise any chance of her getting hurt.

4. Canned food would help her gain weight

Rich in vitamins and minerals, canned kitten food could help Patless overcome her deficiencies, which would indirectly alleviate her skin issues. She could gradually gain weight and regain strength, maturing into a healthy adult cat!

5. We no longer have enough financial resources…

Our association is facing an increasing number of reports of abandoned cats and kittens, severely stretching our resources. Our funds are extremely low!

With the onset of winter, the cats have weakened and need to regain strength. However, the cost of canned food and blankets is something we currently cannot afford…
