Suffering from a severe case of gingivostomatitis and weakened on an immunological level, Titi needs cans of pet food!

1. He was living in a car park!

Titi is a cat of around three years old, whom we took in as he was living dangerously in a car park. He walks in an unusual manner, due to a previous trauma affecting his hindquarters. Despite being very social and affectionate, we've been unable to find him a home due to his health condition…

2. He's struggling to eat because of a virus!

Carrying FIV, Titi is immunologically vulnerable. He recently contracted gingivostomatitis: the inside of his mouth is inflamed and painful, causing him to drool excessively. Eating dry food aggravates the pain in his gums. We therefore have a treatment to administer to alleviate his discomfort.

3. Canned food would enable him to eat without pain

Canned food could allow Titi to eat without pain, despite his sensitive gums. It would be an excellent source of protein, vitamins and minerals, enabling him to replenish his energy daily.

This type of food could also enable him to take his medication more easily, aiding his recovery.

4. The veterinary costs are astronomical!

Our organisation is up against significant financial challenges, as we've recently incurred substantial veterinary costs to care for sick felines.

With 200 cats in our care and around thirty in foster homes, costs quickly mount up! Unfortunately, donations have not increased to cover these additional expenses, placing considerable strain on our resources…
