Velcro, little kitten afflicted with cat flu, weighs only 400 grams!

Des Cœurs pour les Pattes du 93 decided to move forward the ending date of their campaign because its stock of canned food for kitten is critically low

1. Still extremely vulnerable, he's caught a severe case of cat flu!

Velcro is a one month old kitten, born in a stable. His mother was tragically in an accident and he was left to fend for himself. We immediately took him into our care. He is sadly suffering from a serious case of cat flu, with eye discharge and sneezing.

For now, we are bottle feeding him, but we are worried. He will soon need appropriate food which we do not have the resources to purchase... We urgently need to find a solution, as Velcro is very skinny, weighing only 400 grams!

2. Canned food would allow his growth to continue more steadily

Kitten pate in cans would provide Velcro with food suitable to his increased nutritional needs, whilst being gentle on his still fragile digestive system. This food would help bolster his immune system weakened by cat flu, and allow him to gain weight efficiently.

3. The situation is disastrous!

We are in the midst of a crisis, with a virulent epidemic of cat flu affecting 18 unweaned kittens! The cost of veterinary care and bottle feeding are a heavy burden on our resources. The older cats also require constant medical attention, further straining our financial difficulties.
