Sore gums, mouth inflammation, difficulty eating: poor Roucky has gingivitis!

1. The inside of his mouth is very inflamed!

Roucky is a three year old cat that has a severe case of gingivitis due to calicivirus. His gums are so badly inflamed that we probably have to perform a dental extraction to relieve his pain. For now, eating is very difficult for him...

2. Canned food would help him regain strength without causing pain

Canned food would provide Roucky with a way to rebuild his strength despite the inflammation in his mouth.

These foods, usually high in essential nutrients and softer to chew, would be easier for him to eat than dry food. This would enable him to maintain a balanced diet while reducing the risk of experiencing pain during feeding time.

3. We're in a bind!

Our association is facing a multitude of financial and logistical problems. The store collection drives are not enough to meet our needs. Donations are becoming increasingly rare, which forces us to limit our sterilisation, vaccination and even basic healthcare operations such as deworming...

With around a hundred cats to feed and rising veterinary costs, we are no longer able to take in new animals, except in extreme emergencies! Therefore, we are asking for your help, as we are at a dead end!
