Injured in one leg and pregnant, poor Ivy was in a critical condition!

1. She had to undergo emergency surgery!

Ivy is a 6-month-old kitten, who was found in the middle of nowhere. She had blood around her backside and a litter of stillborns inside her. So she had to be operated on urgently...

2. She was grievously wounded...

When we found her, Ivy's left front paw was necrotic, with a completely torn nerve... The vet thus had to amputate, even though she was very weak (she only weighed 1.4 kg!).

3. Canned food would help her claw back to health

Suitable canned food could help Ivy regain weight and recover. A kitten-specific diet would provide her with the nutrients she needs to complete her growth and bolster her immune system.

4. The arrival of kittens is a game changer...

Financially, we were just starting to get back on our feet, but the first kittens are starting to arrive... We are currently caring for 138 animals, which involves high veterinary costs. Between donations not picking up and the lack of grants, the situation is fraught!
